Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will perform a variety of duties to assist the surgeon and circulating nurse in providing care to surgical patients. The technologist will help maintain a safe, organized, and sterile environment throughout surgical procedures under the direction of qualified operating room personnel.

Responsibilities

Assist the surgeon and circulator during surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field.
Help ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients at all times.
Follow operating room protocols, facility policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Provide support to the surgical team as directed.

Call Requirements

One weeknight call per week
Weekend call every 5th weekend

Requirements

Surgical Technologist / OR experience required.
Must be able to work the required call schedule.
Must comply with applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and facility policies.
