Description
Unit: ER - # beds: 28 beds, 4 fast track, 2 trauma bays, and hallway beds
Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC is preferred
Ratios: 1 to 4
EMR: Cerner
Weekend Requirement: every other
Holidays: work into perm staff rotation
Call: one day per month,
Shifts: 12 hr, days are 6a-6p or Nights 6p-6a
Floating: no
Candidates must have 2 years' experience in specialty, travel experience preferred, trying to work on teamwork environment, want someone who can come in and lead that campaign and help to increase team effort in the ER, some travelers are able to take trauma patients depending on their experience, they do a lot of things according to seniority in unit, want candidates with level II trauma experience or above, candidates must have experience working in an ER that is high volume and high acuity.

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
