Description

Position: Cath Lab Tech (Rapid Response)

Contract Duration: 6 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Shift & On-Call Schedule

Shift Breakdown: Day Shift: 06:45–16:15 / Pre-Post: 07:00–17:00
On-Call Requirements: 2 nights of on-call per week; approximately 8–12 call days per 4-week schedule block
Weekend Expectations: Every 3rd weekend on-call (aims for 1 weekend per 4-week block)
Call Response Time: Must reside/be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
Scheduling Restrictions: No Requested Time Off (RTO) or special scheduling requests allowed

Unit Metrics & Environment

Capacity: 2 Cath Lab Suites, 3 Holding Bays
Staffing & Ratios: 9 Staff Members; $3:1$ Staff-to-Patient ratio in procedural areas
Equipment & Tech: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
EMR: Meditech

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

Experience: Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS/RCES
Colorado Licensure Note: If holding RCIS/RCES, candidate must be willing and able to apply/register as a Fluoroscopy Operator with DORA prior to start date

Preferred:

Certifications: ARRT (CI) or (CV)
Clinical Skills: Holding room experience, advanced patient monitoring experience
Common Procedures: LHC, RHC, PCI, Peripheral Diagnostics & Interventions, Pacemakers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEEs, Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine Stress Tests
