Description

Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

Facility: HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge
Location: Thornton, CO
Address: 9191 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab (746)
Contract: 6 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule: 4 × 9-hour shifts
Shift: Days
Start: Rapid Response / ASAP
Position Reason: Peak Period

Shift & Call

Day shift: 6:45 AM–4:15 PM
CVL Pre/Post: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, variable
2 nights of on-call
Every 3rd weekend
Call is divided among the team, typically 8–12 call days per 4-week schedule
Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab while on call

Unit Information

3 holding bays + 2 Cath Lab suites
9 staff members
Patient ratio: 3 staff : 1 patient
EMR: Meditech
Equipment: GE Innova Fluoroscopy Systems, Mac Lab

Required Qualifications

Minimum 6 months recent/current acute-care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
BLS
ARRT(R) OR RCIS/RCES
Candidates with RCIS/RCES must be willing and able to obtain Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator registration through DORA before starting
Must participate in the on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT(CI) or ARRT(CV)
Holding/recovery experience
Cardiac monitoring experience
