Assignment Details

Shift: 1st shift, Days, 3x12s (12-hour shifts)
Float as needed
Unit type: typical Med-Surg/Telemetry unit

Role Overview

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient setting
Demonstrates competency delivering care to a primarily adult population
Job responsibilities adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010)

Requirements

Clinical competence in care and management of the target patient population for this unit
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level consistent with graduation from an accredited nursing program
Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
Current Wisconsin RN license or multistate license from a participating NLC state
BLS (AHA) required
