Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts

13-week assignment with high possibility of Extension.
 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a travel assignment in Spokane, WA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of social work experience and strong skills in assessment, care coordination, counseling, and connecting patients with community and healthcare resources.
Total Weekly Compensation: $2,488/week
 

Requirements:

• Current LICSW/LCSW or applicable Washington State licensure
• MSW required
• Minimum 2 years of social work experience
• BLS certification
• Updated resume
• Completed skills checklist
• Two professional references
• Valid driver's license
• If WA license is pending, proof of application/receipt may be required
• Please disclose any requested time off (RTO) prior to submission

Work Settings:

• Outpatient clinics
• Physician offices and private practices
• Psychiatric hospitals

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
• Provide individual, marriage, and parental counseling
• Coordinate patient care and community-based services
• Assist patients and families with navigating available social service programs
• Coordinate home care services and medical equipment following discharge
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Document relevant information accurately to support care coordination
• Refer patients to rehabilitation and long-term care facilities
• Connect patients with appropriate healthcare, social service, and community resources
• Provide information regarding programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, TANF, food assistance, and medication assistance
• Assist patients with accessing income and insurance resources
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate mental health and substance-use treatment services
• Work with protective service resources, including adult and child protective services
• Assist with complex social situations involving guardianship, power of attorney, emergency detention, adoption, and foster care
• Support patients and families with psychosocial needs throughout the care process
