<h3>RN Med-Surg Travel</h3>Position: Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract with strong potential for extension Start Date: October 5, 2026 Employment Type: Full-time contractSchedule &amp; Hours<ul><li>36 hours guaranteed per week</li><li>3 x 12-hour shifts</li><li>Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM</li><li>Every other weekend required</li></ul>Pay Package<ul><li>Total Travel Package: $2,326/week</li><li>Taxable Wages: $1,246/week</li><li>Housing Allowance: $770/week</li><li>Meals &amp; Incidentals Allowance: $476/week</li><li>Travel package eligibility requires the clinician to reside 50+ miles from the assignment location</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg, Post-Op, or Stepdown experience</li><li>Surgical/Post-Op surgical experience required</li><li>Prior travel assignment experience preferred (at least one completed travel contract)</li><li>Comfortable managing 5-7 patients</li><li>Active Illinois and Iowa RN licenses or a compact license (ability to obtain additional state license during onboarding)</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications</li><li>Must qualify as a traveler (50+ miles from assignment)</li></ul>Additional Details<ul><li>Possible floating to other nearby facilities as needed, with travel reimbursement provided</li><li>Client interview required</li><li>Very limited to no RTO (Requested Time Off) preferred</li><li>Candidate must not have been employed by the health system within the last 12 months</li><li>EMR experience should be included on the resume </li></ul>
