RN Emergency Room

Overview

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Every other weekend or based on department needs
• Every other holiday, rotating with regular staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• MAB
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience caring for critical care patients
• Experience caring for psychiatric patient populations
• Experience caring for pediatric patient populations
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency

Clinical Experience

• Experience caring for critical care patients
• Ability to care for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Strong team collaboration and timely communication
• Ability to escalate concerns appropriately and seek support when needed to ensure patient safety

Additional Notes

• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
