Description
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Schedule4x12 shifts available upon request.
Assignment Details
Ratios are 1:3. Orientation lasts 36 hours. The facility can call off once per two-week pay period.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced.
Must float between like units.
Local candidates and pending licenses are not accepted.
RTO must be included at the time of submission.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on care processes and postpartum care.
Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
