• Start: ASAP
• Shift: Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed
• Weekend: Must be open to weekends. Requirement may exceed every other weekend and can include up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle
• ER Volume: High-acuity, high-volume ER, ~230 visits/day
• Beds: 36 beds + overflow units
• Ratio: 1:4
• Patient Population: Primarily adult/geriatric, ~10% pediatric; respiratory, stroke, abdominal pain, cardiac, sepsis
• Center: Stroke and STEMI Center
• Facility: Magnet designated
• Floating: May float to Tele Hold and ICU Hold as needed
• On-call: No

Requirements

• 1.5+ years ER experience — HARD STOP
• Stroke experience — HARD STOP
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers: No, but strong candidates may be screened
• EPIC: Highly preferred; must clearly identify if candidate has no EPIC experience
• Limited pediatric experience is acceptable
• Pending license: Not accepted

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

Preferred: TNCC + CEN or CPN
