Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will assess patients, prioritize care, administer treatments and medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide safe and effective emergency care.

  • Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes

  • Facility Cancellation: Up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER/ED RN experience – hard stop
  • Active RN license required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • PALS required
  • MAB required
  • NIHSS required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
  • Prioritize care based on patient condition and acuity.
  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and clinical changes.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Provide patient and family education and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow emergency, patient-safety, infection-control, and facility protocols.
  • Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment.
