Description
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Mother/Baby team. Travelers will float between Labor & Delivery and Perinatal units, providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Akron, OH
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Unit Details
- 17-bed Labor & Delivery unit with birthing tubs
- 10 Perinatal beds
- Traveler expected to float between both units
- L&D Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
- Perinatal Ratios: 1:3 average, up to 1:4 depending on acuity
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
- Recent Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Must be comfortable floating between units
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- STABLE Certification
