Description

Role: Echo / Cardiac Sonographer

Department: Echo / Cardiac Sonographer (Cost Center 130)

Care Setting / Division: Acute / Allied

Contract & Schedule

Shift: 10-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); actual daily start may depend on the first scheduled study (e.g., 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (listed as 91 days)
Weekend Requirement: Coverage every 3rd Saturday
Call Requirement: Every 3rd day
Cancellation Policy: Up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment

Certifications & Licensing

General Certification: BLS (AHA)
Specialty Certifications Required:
- RDCS-AE (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – Adult Echo) via ARDMS OR RCS via CCI
- RVT / VS certifications accepted where applicable
Preferred Skills: Pediatric Echo (PE) is a major plus; ARDMS-PE preferred.
License: Required to submit (willing to wait).
