Description

Required Experience

Clinical nutrition experience – Required
Successful completion of an approved coordinated undergraduate program or postgraduate dietetic internship
Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
Experience with nutritional assessment, individualized care plans, diet modifications, nutrition support, supplements, and patient education
Ability to work with neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Acute care experience is relevant/preferred based on the setting
Epic experience – facility uses EPIC

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent through an ACEND-accredited program
For candidates qualifying for the registration exam after January 1, 2024, a master’s degree is required under ACEND requirements.

Required License / Credential

Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through CDR
Minnesota state RD license – Required
License must be available for submission
