Description
RRT-NICU – Yale New Haven Hospital
• Location: New Haven, CT
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12s (6:45 PM–7:30 AM)
• Experience: 2–3 years required; first-time travelers accepted
• Specialty: NICU / Pediatric Respiratory Therapy
• Certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS; NRP & PALS preferred
• Trauma Experience: Required
• ECMO Experience: Preferred
• Ventilator Experience: Hamilton C6 preferred
• Charting: Epic
• Weekend: Every other weekend
• Float: Required between SRC and YSC campuses
• Call: Not required
• Scheduling: No self-scheduling or block scheduling; schedules assigned based on unit needs
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents & adults
• Licensure: CT license required; candidate must apply before submission and allow 15–21 business days for issuance
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 75 miles
• RTO: Must be final and accurate; additional RTO after offer acceptance will not be approved
• COVID Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required, no exemptions
• Reference: 1 professional reference required
• Facility: Short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
