Description
Location: Salem, OR
• Facility: Salem Hospital
• Address: 890 Oak St SE, Salem, OR 97301
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Experience: 2 years required
• Travel Experience: Required
• Certification: RD/RDN required
• Licensure: Oregon license required within 6 months of hire
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, depending on RD credential date, plus ACEND-approved dietetic internship/program
• Specialty: Bariatrics / Adult Outpatient Clinic
• Patient Population: Adults
• Daily Census: Approximately 8 patients
• Charting: Epic required — hard-stop requirement
• Preferred Experience: Acute care, outpatient nutrition, and/or bariatric patients
• Skills: Medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessments, enteral nutrition, calorie counts, fluid balance, morbid obesity, nutrient deficiencies, post-op gastric bypass
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Float: May be required within Salem Health or to nearby affiliated facilities, including West Valley Hospital
• RTO: Must be finalized at submission
• Reference: Minimum 1 supervisor reference required
