Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Travel CT Technologist to join the medical imaging department at a premier 456-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital. This facility houses one of the busiest Emergency Departments and Level I Trauma Centers in the State of California. In this fast-paced role, you will work alongside board-certified radiologists to deliver high-quality, compassionate diagnostic care.

Contract & Schedule Details:

• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift Structure: 4x10-Hour Night Shifts (Friday through Monday | Grave Shift)
• Shift Times: Exact start times vary, but will fall between 07:00 PM and 07:00 AM
• Target Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Weekend Requirement: Every single weekend is mandatory
• On-Call Requirement: 3 to 5 shifts per month
• Timekeeping System: Kronos Reverse Invoicing (Pay period runs Saturday through Friday)
• Orientation / NBO: No upfront orientation/NBO hours built into billing

Department & Equipment Information:

The Medical Imaging department operates two advanced CT units with state-of-the-art technology:

• A 64-Slice CT scanner equipped with a specialized bariatric table (supporting patients up to 660 lbs) and 3D imaging stations for rapid coronary screening.
• A high-speed second spiral CT unit.
• Mandatory Equipment Competency: Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume diagnostic CT scans in an active Level I Trauma Center environment.
• Execute advanced 3D imaging and coronary screenings on chest pain patients.
• Manage heavy bariatric patient screening protocols safely and efficiently.
• Perform venipuncture tasks confidently for contrast administration.
• Collaborate fluidly with on-duty emergency, burn center, and stroke care teams.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

• Clinical Experience: Minimum 12+ months of current, continuous CT experience.
• Trauma Experience: Mandatory recent experience in a high-volume Trauma Level I facility within the past 6 months (1+ year of Level 1 trauma experience is highly preferred).
• Equipment Knowledge: Direct hands-on operational experience with Canon and Toshiba Aquilion systems is strictly required.
   
• Mandatory Credentials (In-Hand at Submission):
  • Active ARRT (CT) Certification.
  • Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Official Venipuncture Certificate.
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.

Facility Strict Compliance Policies:

• Local Radius Rule: Strictly No Locals. Candidates must reside at least 30+ miles away from the facility. The permanent address must be clearly included in the submission file.
• Time Off Policy: Holiday RTO (Requested Time Off) will absolutely NOT be accepted or approved. Any standard RTO must be explicitly listed at the time of profile submission.

• Up-to-date Work History reflecting current CT experience.
• Verified proof of Level 1 Trauma experience clearly noted on the profile.
• A current CT Skills Checklist completed within the past 1 year.
• 1 Supervisory Reference from the past year of employment.
• Valid copies of ARRT (CT), CA CRT License, Venipuncture Certificate, and AHA BLS (All must be current at the time of submission).
