RN MS (Tele)

• No block scheduling.
• Auto offer if RTO is 4 days or less, no holiday RTO, and at least 2 years experience in specialty.
• 12H Days or Nights - 7p-7:30a  or 7a-7:30p - with 30-minute unpaid break.
• Every other weekend required, no call.
• Holiday rotation.
• Travelers will be first to float to like units.
• No self-scheduling. HCP will be scheduled based upon the needs of the facility.  

Qualifications:

• A minimum two (2) years of specialty experience required for auto offer - client will screen if you have at least 1 year.
• BLS (AHA or Am. Red Cross) required; Can obtain before start date if necessary.
• NYS license
• Prior travel experience preferred, but not required. 

UNIT SPECIFICS: 

• 32 bed unit.
• Nurse/patient ratio 1:5-7
• Pt Pop: 50-100.
• Primarily surgical with med surg patients who require specialized nursing for advanced pulmonary disease such as pneumonia and copd; iv pumps, tele remote/ trachs/ bipap/ cpap.
• Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy/Venipuncture; Starting IVs; Transports; assist if ICU xfr Weaning Oxygen; Nebulizer to Inhaler.
