Role summary

Provides direct patient care in the Birthplace, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Supports patient/family teaching, guides other nursing personnel, responds to changes in patient condition, and helps maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors during antepartum and postpartum care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
