Job Summary

• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical-gas therapies.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for ICU and General Practice Unit patients.
• Maintain clinical expertise across assigned business units.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, coworkers, and other healthcare staff.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Supervise/direct/delegate to Respiratory Therapists, orients, externs, and students as assigned.
• Complete accurate patient billing information. 

Requirements

• 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Associate of Science degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy is preferred.
• NBRC registration
• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS certification
