Requirements

• Active RN license required at submission.
• Required certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Advanced / Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• STABLE certification preferred.
• Must have strong L&D/LDRP experience.
• Must be comfortable providing couplet care from admission through discharge.
• Must be able to manage high-risk OB patients.
• Must be able to circulate C-sections and be comfortable with all aspects of the LDRP role.
• Must be able to float to Mother-Baby (MB).
• Must be able to titrate Pitocin.
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips for mothers in PACU.
• Must be willing to participate in the Baby Catcher/NRP role when assigned.
• 2 supervisory references required at submission; charge nurse references are accepted:
  • 1 reference within the past 12 months
  • 1 reference within the past 3 years
• Copy of driver's license required at submission to validate legal name.
• Candidate cannot have been directly employed FT, PT, or PRN by a CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility within the past year.
• PRN employment through an outside staffing firm may be considered.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
• Holiday time off may be considered but is not guaranteed.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend.
• Must be first to float.
• If placed on call, must be able to arrive within 30 minutes.
• BSN not required.
• Cerner is the charting system.
• Guaranteed 36 hours/week.
