Description

Responsibilities

Perform Cardiovascular Invasive Technology (CVT) duties in a Level I Trauma, 719-bed acute-care hospital.
Support procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab).
Assist with occasional Electrophysiology (EP) cases.
Work with relevant CVT/cardiovascular invasive equipment and lab technology.
Support approximately 40–50 cases per day.
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.
Participate in the department’s call rotation, approximately 4–5 call shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month.
Be available for a minimum of 3 days per month when placed on call.
Work scheduled 4×10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with possible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts depending on department needs.

Requirements RCIS certification through CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) required. BLS certification required. Active license/credential required for submission. Previous experience with Cath Lab procedures required/relevant. Experience with CVT equipment and invasive cardiovascular procedures. EP experience is relevant, although EP cases are only occasional. Must be able to participate in the call rotation. Must be available for 40 guaranteed hours per week. BSN is not required. Epic experience is required/relevant. Must be willing to work in a Level I Trauma acute-care facility.
