- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
RN – ICU Float Pool
- Specialty: ICU Float Pool
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12
- Charting: Epic
- Experience: 2+ years ICU experience
- Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
- Facility Experience: 400+ bed hospital experience required
Required:
- Active California RN license in hand at submission
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Pulmonary artery line / Swan-Ganz experience – REQUIRED
- Recent Swan-Ganz experience; skills will be assessed
- Strong cardiac, neuro, and critical-care experience
- Experience caring for ventilated patients and managing/titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
- Must pass EKG exam on the first day of orientation
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
Float Requirements:
- Must float to MS/Tele/PCU/Stepdown/Overflow units as needed
- May float to Overflow PACU
- Weekend requirement: at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
- Must work 3 of 5 holidays
