Physical Therapist - Contract

Location: Fairbanks, AK
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour, Day – Monday–Friday
Start Date: October 12, 2026

Duties :

The Physical Therapist will provide one-on-one outpatient pelvic health therapy to adult female patients. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing and implementing plans of care, providing pelvic floor training and treatment, performing internal examinations, educating patients and families, assessing wounds, and documenting patient progress. Patient sessions are 45 minutes with no double booking or overlapping appointments.

Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Alaska Physical Therapist license required
• BLS preferred
• Pelvic health experience required
• Level 1 pelvic health course preferred; candidates who have performed internal pelvic health examinations through school or clinical training may also be considered
• Minimum 3 months of clinical pelvic health experience, including internal examinations
• Experience treating adult female patients in pelvic health
• Strong outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine experience required
• New graduates may be considered with strong orthopedic/sports clinical experience or at least one completed 13-week outpatient orthopedic/sports contract
• Experience with pelvic floor training, postpartum care, women's health, and orthopedic conditions preferred
• Ability to perform patient evaluations, reassessments, treatment planning, documentation, and patient education
• Ability to assess wounds and provide patient education regarding wound care
• Comfortable providing one-on-one 45-minute treatment sessions
