Description
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room/OR RN experience
- Current RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Experience with scrubbing and/or circulating in the operating room
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical safety standards
- Ability to prepare the OR for surgical procedures
- Ability to assemble and verify surgical equipment and supplies
- Ability to ensure equipment is functional and necessary supplies/implants are available
- Ability to coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, nurses, and other members of the surgical team
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
- Strong communication skills for working with patients, families, and the operating team
