Mother Baby RN – Couple Care

We are seeking an experienced Mother Baby RN to join the team. This position focuses on providing compassionate, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a couplet-care setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manage patient care and document according to standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mother Baby experience required
• Experience with Mother Baby couplet care
• ASN required
• BLS – AHA required
• NRP required
• AWHONN Advanced or C-EFM required for all HMH facilities except JSUMC
• NJ Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license required

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
