 Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Description: Cath Lab Tech - Days -  40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATESContract Length: 13 weeksStart Date: ASAPGuaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours Shift Requirements: Days, 4x10Float Requirements: Will need to be at Gateway as a full-time resourceOn Call/Call Back Requirements: On call 1-2 nights per week with taking call 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule. 30-minute response time. Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule. Weekend call is from Friday 5pm CST Monday 0630 CST. Will rotate through upcoming Holidays on the team they are placed onRequired Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: IN license and ARRT (must have both)Minimum Experience: MUST HAVE CATH LAB EXPERIENCE- 2 years experience preferably. Charting/Equipment: EPIC/CUPID , GE MacLab/CardioLabRequired skills: Cardiac: Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and Interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including supply and equipment usage such as: PTCA/Stent, Complex PCI utilizing Shockwave IVL, Rotapro Atherectomy, CSI Atherectomy, kissing balloon approach, IABP, Impella CP, IVUS(Philips), iFR/FFR), device implants - PPM, ICD, Bi-V, leadless pacemakers implants. (High volume, High priority)Vascular for Gateway Campus: EKOS Thrombolysis, INARI Thrombectomy (low volume/low priority)Neurovascular: Diagnostic/Interventional Neurovascular procedures (low to medium volume; low priority-have incentive in place for our 2 permanent rad techs now for neuro call)Preferred experience: Structural Heart experience(TAVR, LAAO, PFO/ASD) (we have a system in place currently training scrub techs (RTs and RNs) to become competent in TAVRs, but would like the applicant to have experience with PFO/ASD and LAAO procedures) Unit information: 12-15 cases per day between Cath & EP. 2 RTs on the unit for Cath Lab. 2 fulltime Rad Techs and 1 part time RT for EP. 16 RNs between Cath & EP. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required - Subject to changeGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:Will rotate through upcoming Holidays on the team they are placed on.
