Description
Travel CVOR RN | Illinois | 5×8 Days
Join a four-room CVOR at a 562-bed Magnet teaching hospital and Level I trauma center. The unit averages approximately 10 cases daily, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Shift: 6:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m. Cerner charting; scrubs provided and parking is free with a permit.
Qualifications
- Strong CVOR and general OR experience; three years preferred. A candidate with less CVOR experience may be considered with several years of trauma or main OR experience.
- Experience scrubbing cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and endoscopic cases. Required experience includes CABG, valve and aortic procedures, TAVR, ECMO, IABP/LVAD, vascular repairs, thoracotomy/VATS, and Whipple procedures.
- Teaching hospital and Level II trauma experience required.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred. First-time travelers accepted.
- Illinois RN license active or application in process, subject to submission review.
Assignment details: Call is required. Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager. Floating within scope may be required. Candidates must work two of the three major holidays.
