Location: Lancaster, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
Shift: Weekday Mid/Evening

Position Overview

Lancaster General Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience operating a Siemens Avanto VB19 MRI scanner.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures.
• Properly position and communicate with patients throughout examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow all safety and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow department policies and maintain a safe MRI environment.

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Siemens Avanto VB19 experience required
  • Must have operated this scanner within the last 12 months
• MRI certification preferred
• Previous MRI technologist experience required
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 3:30 PM–Midnight
• Weekday mid/evening shift
