We are hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in West Hollywood, CA.

Position Highlights:

• $2,850/week gross
• 13-week travel contract
• Day shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 5x8 schedule | 40 hours/week
• Approximately 1:15 patient ratio
• Every-other-weekend coverage
• No floating
• No on-call requirement
• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required at the time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of acute-care Case Management experience
• Utilization Management experience required
• BLS certification required
• Acute hospital experience required
• Experience with care coordination and discharge planning
• Experience with utilization review and patient care planning

Preferred Experience:

• Epic EMR
• InterQual Criteria
• Milliman Guidelines
• DRG and ICD-10
• CMS regulations
• Acute-care hospital case management
• Utilization Review

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care throughout the hospital stay
• Perform case management and utilization management activities
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Coordinate discharge planning and post-acute services
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social services, transportation, and other interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient progress and facilitate appropriate levels of care
• Apply utilization review criteria and healthcare guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance

Important Information:

• Flu vaccination is required; no exemptions
• Active CA RN license must be in hand at submission
• No pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated
• Up to 2 weeks of RTO may be requested
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Two supervisor-level professional references from the past year are required at submission
• Travel experience is not required
