Facility: Sovah Health Danville / Danville Regional Medical Center
Location: Danville, VA
Specialty: Emergency Room RN
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Openings: 1
Travel Requirement: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.

Experience

• 5+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Candidates with both ICU and ED experience may be considered
• Strong ED experience preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH
• PALS or ENPC
• Handle with Care — available onsite

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Rotating weekends / as needed
• No call
• Float as needed
• Orientation is every other Tuesday

ER Unit Details

• 31 beds + 2 triage rooms
• 7 beds are used for Behavioral Health or Acute patients
• Patient ratio: approximately 1:4
• Serves all age groups
• EHR: MedHost primarily for ED; Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health patients
• High-volume situations may occasionally affect ratios
