Rapid Response RN | Emergency Department

Facility: Research Medical Center
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Department: Emergency Department
Contract: 6 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Openings: 2

Required Certifications

All must be included in the submission packet:

ACLS
BLS
TNCC
ENPC

Schedule & Requirements

48 hours/week
4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Minimum 2 Fridays
2 major holidays + 2 minor holidays
No RTO or special scheduling requests
Rapid Response assignment

ED Details

38-bed Emergency Department
Areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych-safe area)
Staffing: approximately 7 RNs day / 7 RNs night, plus mid-shift RN coverage
EMR: Meditech
Equipment includes:
- Ventilators
- BiPAP
- EKG
- Arterial lines
- Belmont
- Chest tubes
