Facility: Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital – Holyoke, MA
Unit: Behavioral Health Inpatient
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Weekend: Every other / as needed
Call: None
Float: Yes
Patient Ratio: ~1:8, lower in pediatric/geriatric units
Beds: 104 across 5 units
Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics (5–17), Geriatrics
EMR: Cerner
Scrubs: Blue
Orientation: Biweekly Tuesdays

Requirements

1+ year inpatient psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience
BLS
HWC (Handle With Care)
Active Massachusetts RN license
Previous inpatient psychiatric experience
Comfortable caring for adult and pediatric behavioral health patients
Common diagnoses: schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, anxiety
ACLS preferred
