Travel L&D Charge RN

Position: Travel RN – L&D / Night Charge
Department: Family Birth Place
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekends: Rotating weekends
Call: Rotating call — typically one 12-hour call shift every 6 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Unit / Patient Population

• Family Birth Place
• Labor & Delivery
• OR
• PACU
• Postpartum
• Mother-Baby couplet care
• Approximately 80 deliveries/month
• Caring for babies 32 weeks and older
• Evidence-based, patient-centered care

Experience Required

• Experienced L&D Traveler Charge RN
• L&D experience
• Charge RN experience
• OR/PACU and postpartum experience preferred
• Couplets / mother-baby care
• Strong teamwork and communication

Required Certifications / License

• Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• NRP
• STABLE

Important Requirements

• 75-mile radius rule: Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• CAPS registration required and should be started ASAP; may take up to 2 weeks
• Correct SSN and DOB must be entered in Medefis
• Current flu vaccine required from October 1–April 1
• No flu vaccine exemptions
• Holiday guaranteed hours do not apply to clinic workers
