🩺 Your Role

As an Emergency Department RN, you'll play an important role in providing timely, safe, and compassionate care to patients with a wide range of conditions and acuity levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, treatments, and therapies.
• Administer medications and perform appropriate delegated medical functions.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Provide patient and family education and health counseling.
• Monitor treatment plans and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Coordinate referrals and additional evaluations when needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Utilize available clinical resources effectively.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered care environment.
• Float to other departments within your scope of practice when required.

✅ Required Qualifications & Certifications

Experience & License

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Recent Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Active Colorado RN license or valid Compact RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ASN or higher.

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• ENPC
• NIHSS
