Description
For Job ID 65704116 – Clinical Nurse II, Treatment Center OR/Inpatient, the requirements are fairly specific. The biggest requirement is OR circulating experience.
Required qualifications
- BSN — required
- Unlike some of the other postings you've shared, an ADN alone would not meet this requirement.
- Current California RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA PALS certification
- At least 3 years of OR circulating experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing assignment experience within the last 3 years
- Proficiency with:
- Clinical equipment and machines
- Computers
- Technology used in the nursing practice setting
- Ability to appropriately manage equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Ability to guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) as permitted under the California Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
OR experience is critical
The posting specifically requires:
3 years of OR circulating experience
So this is not simply an RN position where general hospital experience would be sufficient.
The candidate should have substantial experience functioning as an OR circulating nurse.
If someone has 3 years of OR experience but primarily worked as a scrub nurse, I would not automatically consider them qualified because the posting specifically says circulating experience.
Travel experience
The candidate must also have:
- At least 1 year of travel assignment experience
- That travel experience must have occurred within the last 3 years
This is another hard requirement that could screen someone out even if they have extensive OR experience.
Required certifications
The candidate needs:
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
Both are listed as required.
Schedule/contract
- Rotating 3 × 12-hour shifts
- 36hr guarantee

Pros
I met her a year ago, and was wanting to travel but I didn’t have my multi-state licenses yet. She remembered me! Not long ago she reached out to me and said she wanted to help me and that she had some terrific leads. She got me into a job in Wisconsin, and she checks on me all the time. I couldn’t ask for a better recruiter and friend! I am so blessed to have been one of her clients! I will send everyone I know to her!! ❤️"
