Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel contract in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing 100% outpatient therapy within a senior living environment.
Position Overview
This opportunity combines the benefits of an outpatient therapy model with a senior/geriatric patient population. Treatment is focused on helping residents maintain or improve mobility, strength, balance, safety and independence.
This can be an excellent alternative for a PT who enjoys working with older adults but prefers a more individualized outpatient environment rather than a traditional SNF setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform PT evaluations and reassessments
- Develop individualized plans of care
- Provide therapeutic exercise and functional strengthening
- Gait and balance training
- Mobility and transfer training
- Fall prevention and safety education
- Improve strength, endurance and functional independence
- Develop and progress home exercise programs
- Document patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with the senior living and rehabilitation teams
