Description
Position: Surgical Tech
Location: Sacramento, CA
Setting: Hospital - Level II Trauma Center
Duration: 13-weeks
Compensation
Local Pay Rate: $35/hr
Travel Package: $2,000/week
*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package*

Position Details
Schedule:
- 5x8s, Day Shift (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM)
- On-call rotation
- 4-5 days per month
Job Responsibilities
Assist surgeons and the surgical team throughout a variety of procedures by preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment; establishing and maintaining sterile fields; anticipating surgeon needs during cases; ensuring operating rooms are properly set up and stocked; adhering to infection prevention and patient safety standards; inspecting and troubleshooting equipment; assisting with documentation as needed; monitoring inventory levels; and supporting quality patient care through all phases of the surgical process.
Requirements
- MUST have Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or Military Scrub Tech training
- Current BLS Certification
- 1+ yrs experience as a Surgical Technologist
