Description

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Work Week: Sunday – Saturday
    • Overtime Policy: Weekly OT after 40 hours; Daily OT after 24 hours (based on differential).
    • Schedule & Time-Off Policy: ALL Requested Time Off (RTO) MUST be submitted at time of initial submittal; no RTO will be approved post-submission.
    • Floating Protocol: Floating is strictly required; travelers are first to float and may be floated onsite or to sister regional campuses as needed.
  • Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment (11/06/2026 – 02/06/2027) | 5 Open Positions | Group Order | ASAP START NEEDED / INTERVIEW & OFFER
  • Location Region: Fort Myers, Florida (FL) | Travel Candidates Only (Local Candidates Restricted)

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated ER RN experience in emergency departments of comparable facility size and volume strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Prior travel experience strongly preferred.
  • Educational / Accreditation Threshold [HARDSTOP]: Nursing degree accreditation MUST be explicitly listed on the candidate profile OR candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of RN clinical experience [HARDSTOP].
  • Radius Restriction [HARDSTOP]: Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the facility (Travelers only; no local candidates permitted) [HARDSTOP].
  • Document & Profile Submission Data [HARDSTOP]: Profile submittal MUST include complete demographic details: street address, email address, full DOB, full SSN, and active RN license number [HARDSTOP]. Hard document compliance deadline is Monday prior to start; no exceptions for pending documentation.
  • EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active Florida RN License OR valid Multi-State Compact RN License strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NIHSS (Stroke Certification) [HARDSTOP].
    • Preferred Credentials: ENA TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENA ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) preferred.
