Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Hospital-Based Rehab

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week hospital-based contract in Margate, Florida. This opportunity is a great fit for a PT who enjoys working in a collaborative medical environment and helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and functional independence.

This position is located within a hospital setting in South Florida and offers the opportunity to work closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and mobility interventions.
• Help patients improve strength, endurance, safety, and overall functional independence.
• Assist with discharge planning and mobility recommendations as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, case management, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

• Florida PT license required.
• BLS required.
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills preferred.
