Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Sleep Medicine
Location: North Haven, CT
Schedule: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | 3x12s weekly
Assignment: Contract with longer-term opportunity / extensions
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to support an overnight Sleep Medicine program in North Haven. This is a specialized role working directly with patients during sleep studies, providing respiratory monitoring, CPAP support, and clinical care throughout the night.
What You’ll Do
- Support and monitor patients during overnight sleep studies
- Provide respiratory assessment and care as needed
- Assist with CPAP titration and related respiratory procedures
- Observe patient condition and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Document patient information and sleep-study activity accurately
- Collaborate with the Sleep Medicine team to provide safe, high-quality care
What You’ll Need
- Active Connecticut Respiratory Therapist license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Prior respiratory therapy experience
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Preferred Experience
- Sleep Medicine, sleep lab, polysomnography, or EEG experience
- CPAP/BiPAP titration experience
- Travel or contract respiratory therapy background
This is a strong opportunity for a Connecticut-licensed RRT looking for a consistent overnight schedule in a specialized outpatient setting.
