Description
🫁 NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Shift: 3x12 Days, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
- Weekend: Required as needed; max 3 weekends in a row
- Holiday: Must work 2 of 3 holiday bundles
- Local: Not accepted within 100 miles
- Floating: Yes — to Adult RRT as needed
- First-time Travelers: Yes
- Charting: Cerner
- Facility: Level I Trauma, Teaching, Children's Hospital
- Beds: 554
Requirements / Hard Stops
- 2+ years recent NICU/PICU experience
- Must have both NICU and PICU experience
- NM RRT license
- RRT
- BLS, ACLS, NRP
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Strong HFJV & HFOV experience
- Must self-rate 4/4 in both HFJV and HFOV; candidates rating 1–2 should not be submitted
- ABG interpretation, ventilator management, extubation, airway/suctioning, trach care, pulmonary hygiene

- Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- 6–10 vents/day
- NICU/PICU
- HFOV, HFJV, iNO
- Level III NICU support
