Travel Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist – CenterWell Home Health, Hot Springs, AR

Position Summary

You’ll treat patients in their homes across the Hot Springs area for CenterWell Home Health on a full-time travel contract with Ardor.

This is a 13-week travel Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist role, with extension possible, with CenterWell Home Health, a Humana company, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. You’ll work a full-time weekday schedule (40 hours/week). Your work will include:

• Evaluating patients, assessing the home environment and creating plans of care to improve speech, language and swallowing function.
• Recommending communication devices and aids.
• Coordinating care with referring physicians and the CenterWell clinical team.
• Educating patients and caregivers to support continued independence.
• Supervising home health aides on tasks related to the speech therapy plan of care when needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, or one that meets ASHA certification requirements.
• ASHA CCC-SLP, or CCC-eligible.
• Arkansas SLP license.
• Current CPR certification.
• A current driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
