Description
Job Title: Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Washington, DC
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Shift: Nights | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Call Requirement: One 12-hour call every other weekend
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- Active RN license in the required state/district.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program.
- BSN highly preferred.
- Must live at least 50 miles from the work location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scrubbing and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to provide quality intraoperative care.
