Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Rehab

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient-focused contract in Baker, Montana. This opportunity is a great fit for a PT who is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable treating a wide variety of patients in a close-knit rural community.

The caseload is approximately 95% outpatient, with about 5% LTC and skilled swing bed coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Treat a broad range of orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and general rehabilitation diagnoses.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, and continued recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with limited LTC and skilled swing coverage as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

• Montana PT license required.
• BLS required.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable treating a broad range of diagnoses.
• Strong communication and independent clinical decision-making skills preferred.
• Housing is not included, but local housing resources may be available.
