Overview

• Location: Racine, Wisconsin
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 11:00 - 19:30

Role Details

• BLS is required.
• Call is based on department needs, currently 1-2 weekday call shifts (1800-0630) and weekend call every 4th weekend.
• Prior traveler experience is listed.
• EPIC experience is listed.
• L&D experience is listed.
• General surgery experience is listed, including ortho and Gyn.
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

• Surgical First Assistant with 1 year of experience.
• Surgical First Assistant experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
• At least two professional references.
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually.
• Driver’s license or state ID must be current and not expired.
• MMR documentation required.
• Fit test required.
• Hepatitis B documentation required.
• Influenza vaccine documentation required, with declinations/exemptions accepted.
• Health statement or completed physical exam required.
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA required.
• Varicella documentation required.
• Tdap required.
• Background check required.
• EPLS required.
• Education verification required.
• Confirmation of assignment required.
• Employment verification required.
• 11 panel drug screen required.
• Surgical Technologist Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation required.
• Badge photo required.

Preferred

• Positive PPD, negative chest X-ray, and annual TB questionnaire are optional.
• Name change document is optional.
