Description
CT Technologist
CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures using computerized tomography equipment to help physicians diagnose and monitor diseases and injuries. They prepare and position patients, administer contrast media when appropriate, operate CT scanners, ensure radiation safety, evaluate image quality, monitor patients during procedures, and maintain accurate documentation while following departmental and safety protocols.
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ARRT (CT) / Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Required Experience
- CT imaging experience
- Experience performing routine and emergency CT examinations
- Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast administration
- Ability to position patients and produce high-quality diagnostic images
Required Onboarding
- Core Mandatory Exam (Allied/Non-Nursing)
- CT Tech – Skills Checklist
Shift
