Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient and outpatient travel contract at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska!
This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys variety in their clinical practice and wants to gain experience treating patients across both hospital-based inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Position Overview
You'll provide physical therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
The combination of inpatient and outpatient care offers an opportunity to work with patients at different stages of recovery, from acute medical needs to ongoing rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
- Treat patients recovering from illness, injury and surgery
- Address gait, balance, strength and mobility limitations
- Provide therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing and other rehabilitation professionals
- Participate in discharge planning when appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Physical Therapist license
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Inpatient and outpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across different clinical settings
