Description
Cath Lab RN – Appleton, WI
Facility: ThedaCare Appleton
Shift: 8-hour variable days (manager open to 10s), 0630 or 0730 start, must be flexible
Start: ASAP | Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Contract: 16 weeks per the posting text, but the contract weeks field shows 112, so confirm which is right
Requirements
- Previous travel required: no new travelers. Must have at least one completed travel contract.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS
- Associate degree or certificate
- Skillset: Circulate IR, cath, and structural heart procedures. Scrub is required for consideration.
- Case types: cath, EP, IR, and vascular
- 50-mile radius rule: No travelers whose home or current facility is within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate in Neenah, WI
Schedule & Policies
- On call at least once per week, with weekends and holidays as needed; 30-minute response time
- Float throughout the facility within skillset, to all ThedaCare facilities, and to the Neenah Specials Department
- Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
- Billing runs Sunday to Saturday
- 8 hours of unbillable orientation, and hours aren’t guaranteed the week of orientation
- Hours are guaranteed each week except holidays when the unit is closed
