Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

🕐 Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
🏠 Local Rule: Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
📞 Call: Averages once a week, Monday–Thursday, plus one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
🩺 Required Credentials: RCIS or Radiologic Technologist (RAD)
🏥 Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Electrophysiology

Job Details

• Work in a multidisciplinary Cath Lab performing invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Support structural heart procedures and diagnostic/therapeutic coronary and peripheral interventions.
• Scrub and prepare procedure trays for peripheral interventions and diagnostic studies.
• Perform scrub and monitoring duties using catheterization equipment.
• Operate radiology imaging equipment according to established procedures.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
• Experience in other specialties is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RCIS or RAD credential.
• Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, or AA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must meet the facility's 50-mile radius requirement.
